This is yet another milestone moment…..

On Monday, March 9, 2026, we approved the e-proof of the book. The e-proof is the electronic file that holds the engineering instructions for the machine that manufactures the book. Once that happens, you can order the actual proof copy. The proof copy is a physical book that is the first look at the bound book. They are being printed and shipped by IngramSpark. The express shipping costs more than the books. We are anxiously awaiting the proofs.

Opening the box is a big moment that is recorded and celebrated. We are hoping that happens this weekend. Ideally, the proofs will be perfect, and we can move on with the hardback files. The hardback has three separate electronic files. There is one each for the book jacket, the hard cover (blue with gold lettering), and the interior of the book. The interior is identical to the paperback, so that process should go quickly.

As a reminder, the Forbes.com article will drop on Sunday, May 3rd, the day after the release date. The data show that Sunday drops get more views than weekday drops. I approved the edits on the Forbes article early in the week.
